While looking for a body shop to mend my BMW after a rear end collision, I came across Attica Auto Body. They initially stood out because of their great reviews. When I called a receptionist answered; She was able to schedule an appointment for me to come in for a quote. When I arrived, I was greeted and meet Joe. He's detailed, understanding and was willing to work with me on my wants for the damage repair. His quote was extremely reasonable so I went for it. The work was completed in a timely fashion and to a very high level of quality. My overall experience with this shop and all of the employees was excellent. This is a hidden gem on the Northside.

I received or attempted to get a quote from several body shops in the neighborhood, and Attica provided both the best quote and were far and away the most pleasant to deal with. The man who provided my quote took the time to explain that my new black paint would be noticeable compared to the more worn paint on the rest of the car (the difference is barely noticeable) and every one else I spoke to was equally thorough and professional. I see no reason I wouldn't go back to them in a heartbeat for any other needs.

First off, Yolanda at the front desk is absolutely the best. She makes the experience very easy and comfortable for clients. My favorite thing about this body shop is that they deal with securing your rental car so you don’t even have to lift a finger. I’m not a car expert but my car looks brand new. Like nothing ever happened to it. I would HIGHLY recommend this place. Their turn around time is super fast too!

Attica did a wonderful job repairing and replacing our passenger door and rim for our VW Atlas after an accident. It looks brand new! It took 3 weeks to get our car repaired but was mainly due to waiting for the parts to come in. Also, the receptionist and team were wonderful to work with. They handled all the back and forth with insurance and made it such an easy process for us. Thank you!! I'll always go to Attica now for any body repairs we will need.

The best and most fair auto shop in Chicago!

I had to do some body work on a friend's car. I brought the car and the piece in that I ordered online. They took me right in and fixed it while I waited. I've had many places take advantage of me because I'm a woman and these people will not do that to you! Was recommended as a place that specializes in Hondas but I'm sure they can fix any car.

My car was recently hit in the city (not my fault!). The woman's insurance took over the claim and they offered me the ability to find my own shop or use a State Farm preferred shop. I have a new Mercedes and was worried about the work and who would do it. I did my research online and saw wonderful reviews for Attica. They are also a preferred partner with State Farm. Win win. Picked up my car today and couldn't be more pleased. The office staff are on the ball. Their follow up is amazing. They took care of every last detail for me and even helped me make sure my rental car experience went smoothly -- not their job to do that but they did. I asked for several other estimates for other work I'm thinking of and they were prompt, thorough and fair in delivery of all!  Never thought I'd be writing a 5-Star review of an auto body shop but this one deserves it!  A+++!!

Everyone at Attica treats their customers like family!! This is a real hidden gem of a shop in Chicago, and I'll never go anywhere else. I've had so many issues with other shops not taking me seriously, not listening to my concerns, and not doing quality work, but Attica is not like that. They obviously love cars, they have awards all over and framed photos of cars on the walls, and an overall atmosphere of positivity and genuine comfort with the work they do. I cannot say enough about this place. As a person who is very wary about who has my car, I trust Joe and everyone at Attica completely. They really do fantastic work :) highly recommend!! Below are before and after photos, I had a lot of suspension damage after being hit in an intersection. My car drives like new again ❤️

Wow, this place is incredible! I brought my 2008 Honda CRV in to have a dent in the front fender fixed. The dent was all rusty already. I had gotten a quote from another shop but it was way too high. Attica's quote was about 40% less and they had the car ready for me by the end of the second day. When I picked it up I couldn't believe my eyes! It was PERFECT. They didn't replace the fender so I don't know how they did it. I hope I never have to use them again (ha ha) but I will definitely recommend to everyone!

I am always skeptical and in a bad mood when dropping off my car to get things fixed. Just human nature I guess? However, from the minute I made that first call to Attica to the day I picked up the car, there was nothing to worry about at all! Talking on the phone to figure out what I needed to do was pleasant and very helpful! When I brought in the car, they had the rental and paperwork ready to go. Fast and efficient. I was out of town for part of the fix and couldn't pick the car up right away, so they were willing to hold onto the car for a couple of days. Other places would charge! The work was perfect. Had a fender and bumper to fix and paint. Knock on wood, I won't be back because my driving will be perfect from now on.... BUT if I do need a fixin' I know where to come now!

Friendly. Honest. Fast. Expert. Attica could have charge me much more than they did to fix the results of a minor accident, and I would have been happy, because I don't know anything about car fenders and how they attach to each other and to car frames. But Natalie explained that it was a simple 5 minute fix and why, and that it would cost very little. When I came back the next day, she took the car, I went to the waiting room, and 5 minutes later she came back in and said it was done, just like she predicted. The fix was flawless. The speed was freaky. My mechanic recommended Attica. What a great recommendation. If I ever need a body shop again, this is where I will come. If my friends ever need a body shop, this is where I will send them.

I picked this shop based on their reviews and the fact that they were a State Farm shop. A ladder fell on the 2014 BMW X5 I had for a whole 2 months. It dented the rear tailgate, tail light, and bumper. The shop took in the car on a Monday, got the BMW parts by Wednesday and had it ready to go Friday afternoon. It looks perfect- the paint was perfectly matched and the emblems were placed perfectly back where they belong. Zero complaints. I'm admittedly skeptical of body shops but they did a great job. A week later, I have no complaints and highly recommend this shop based on my experience.

I picked up my vehicle today. The owner and his staff are friendly and professional. The estimate given was the best out of 3 others and the quality of work was great. They took my car last minute and finished my vehicle 1 day earlier, which helped significantly as I was asking friends and co-works for rides. Im very satisfied with the quality of work and price. Would definitely take my car here again.

If you need auto-body work completed on your car, this is the place. Having never been through the process of having auto body repairs, I was clueless as to how it worked. Natalie walked me through the steps to repair my 2015 (ouch) Subaru Outback after a minor accident leaving my front bumper cracked. From the initial quote throughout the wait for parts from Subaru, Natalie was professional, keeping me up to date on the progress. Additionally, it's wonderful Attica has a relationship with Enterprise Rental Cars, as a rental was available to me immediately when I dropped my car off for repair (which was right at 8am, when they opened). Living in Chicago, it seems there's an auto-body shop on every corner, leaving the decision process overwhelming. No more - this place is where I would return and will recommend to friends and family.

Obviously, the last thing you're thinking about when some jack@ss hits you is where should I have my car towed to get it repaired. I was lucky enough to have someone refer me to Attica.Joe, the owner, personally picked me up from the crash site, and brought me to his shop, all while his tow truck driver got my injured vehicle there. They were very helpful in giving me tips for working with the other guy's insurance.When I finally got my 4Runner back, I was amazed. It looked great. There was a ton of damage, so I was expecting there to be some imperfections. None! I still have some work to do with the other guy's insurance company, as there were also some electrical issues on my SUV. 

As far as the body work goes, Attica did a great job. Natalie was great in answering my questions while they had my car, and Joe has done an outstanding job in being responsive even after I received my car back. I'm a guy with a lot of questions, and Joe has had all of the answers.I would definitely recommend Attica to all who find themselves in a situation like I did...in an accident, with no clue where to have your car towed.

No one enjoys getting involved in any type of accident. It's already stressful enough, then one must worry about repairs, etc. (I just moved to Chicago so had no trusted mechanic when this occurred). Joe and team at Attica are amazing. They are professional, answer any and all questions, follow-up accordingly, and simply put: they are amazing at what they do. I was rear-ended which forced my vehicle into the car in front of me as well so I expected at least some imperfections (especially being a 2017 vehicle). It looks as good as the day I drove it off the lot. Joe, again thank you. I would recommend your business to anyone.

I brought my leased piece of crap in to Attica after I rear ended some lady, SOFTLY, and she had a worse piece of crap than I had - I needed to get it repaired before I turn it back in to the dealer for the lease end. The front end had to be replaced, but fortunately there was no frame damage, and the lady was fine, but of course she pocketed the check for her '96 crappy Toyota Corolla. Attica did an AWESOME job and FAST. I dropped it off Friday and it was ready Tuesday at Noon. They are very friendly, kept me informed (because after they removed the bumper they noticed a few items the adjuster could not see) and an all around great body shop. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND ATTICA - THE WORKMANSHIP IS 2nd TO NONE!!! You cannot even tell anything was replaced even though the car is almost 3 years old - the color match is perfect!

Attica is the best auto shop in Chicago!! I am very particular about my car and recently had someone rearend my brand new 2012 Odyssey. Took it to several shops for estimates and found them to be over $1400. Went to Attica by a recommendation of my insurance company and Joe, the owner took care of me at a 1/4 of the price and the work was outstanding!! The girls in the office are sweet and professional. Just took my husbands, Jeep to Attica to have a off road bumper put on by Joe. It looks awesome and price was exception!! Won't trust anyone else with my vehicles.

If I could only give 10 stars!!!!! I had used them before, but it had been a few years. From start to finish, a thoroughly professional and pleasant experience. After getting a quote which shocked me, i went for a second opinion at Attica. When I first arrived, I told Joe that the car did not need to look perfect, just serviceable, he replied "Yes it does. I dont do them any other way." He gave a fair quote, and explained the hows and whys of the repairs. Natalie is a treasure of an employee - one of the best customer service employees I have ever encountered! She arranged my rental without delay, and had me on my way to work within minutes. The work was done on time, and my car looked brand new. I had gone in for a paint touch-up on two dings, and they not only fixed them perfectly, but they also took the time to remove almost all of the annoying oil deposits from a road construction drive-thru. I had been fully expecting to have to pay someone to detail those out, but Attica took care of them at no extra charge!  I have already referred them to a friend (I hope he pays attention!), and will continue to do so to anyone who needs work done.
